Les Pléiades - a spring hike among blooming daffodils

If you're looking for a simple, accessible and flower-filled walk, this one is not to be missed between May and June.
The highlight of this hike? The wild daffodils that blanket the meadows in white for a few short weeks, offering a delicate and fleeting spectacle. Suitable for all levels, this outing is perfect for clearing your head after work or enjoying a peaceful afternoon. The loop is short, pleasant, and offers beautiful viewpoints.
Access and starting point
You can reach the starting point:
- by train: from Blonay station to Lally
by car: by parking directly at the Motalles parking lot
The route
The loop can be done in either direction.
Personally, I started by walking through Lally towards Lausanne, then made my way up through the meadows and forest. I then joined the Sentier des Planètes, a lovely and well-marked trail.
On the way back, I followed the Sentier des Pives. If you'd like to extend the walk, you can continue on to the Prantin daffodil field— a small detour that’s truly worth it when the flowers are in full bloom.
